Waldo S. Egbert

	Waldo S. Egbert, age 92, of rural Cutler, died Tuesday, October 10, 2000 at 3:15 a.m. in the Pinckneyville Community Hospital Skilled Care Unit.
	Waldo was born May 22, 1908 in Cutler, the son of Isaac and Margaret (Wiehn) Egbert.  He was united in marriage to Minnie R. Mohr on August 17, 1929 and she preceded him in death on June 25, 1985.  He then married Marie C. Rabe on June 20, 1986 and she preceded him in death on October 28, 1988.  Waldo was a farmer and 4-H leader for more than 20 years.  He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Willisville, former member of the Trico Lions Club, served on the Trico School board and was a board member of the Hudelston Baptist Childrens Home in Centralia.
	Waldo is survived by his son, David Egbert and his wife Brenda of Cutler, a grandson, Jeff Egbert and wife Sally of Waterloo, a great-granddaughter, a foster-son, Bill Kelly of Cutler and three foster grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, one brother, Lawrence and three sisters; Jeanette Smith, Bessie Kiehna and Edna Brown.
	Funeral services were Friday, October 13 at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckneyville at 11 a.m. with Reverend Randy Johnson officiating.  Interment was in the Cottom Cemetery in Denmark.
	 Friends called at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home Thursday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. and again on the day of the funeral from 8 a.m.until time of services.
